MAY ROSARY MISSION 2021
The Pontifical Council for the New Evangelisation that the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham has chosen as one of the shrines worldwide to lead daily prayers for the end of the pandemic. More information on this is available from https://www.walsingham.org.uk/
In addition to this Our Lady’s Shrine in Walsingham is holding a Rosary Mission in the light of the Rededication of England as the Dowry of Mary and extends the call for Our Lady’s Protection and Queenship over the entire world. Each night at 8pm there will be a foundational Rosary – to Jesus through Mary led from a different Parish/Shrine. Sunday May 30th between 5-6pm is the Rosary Hour for the Diocese of Lancaster.
Looking forward to the Solemnity of Pentecost, I bring to your attention a Novena of Prayer for evangelisation and renewal of the Church. The Novena begins on the Solemnity of the Ascension. You will find the information and resources available from https://www.cbcew.org.uk/home/events/thy-kingdom-come/pentecost-novena/ . It is my hope that there will also be a homily from the bishops of England and Wales as well as the Scottish bishops, which can be used on Pentecost Sunday.
